Hi, I'm Sara, a visual communication designer based in Costa Rica with an interest in branding, visual identity and strategy. What I enjoy most about design isn’t just creating things — it’s understanding them first. I love projects that challenge me to learn, adapt and think in different ways, whether that means developing a brand identity, designing a workshop, building an editorial piece or exploring photography.

For me, good design goes beyond aesthetics. It should have a purpose, adapt to the people it’s made for and communicate clearly. Paying attention to context, details and the reasoning behind decisions is a big part of how I approach projects. I enjoy finding solutions that feel intentional rather than driven purely by trends or aesthetics.

When I’m not designing, I’m usually somewhere between taking photos, making crafts, scrolling on TikTok, looking up fashion inspiration and paying way too much attention to packaging design at the grocery store.
